Master Seonok began her training at nine years old. By the time she was thirteen, she had moved away from home to become a competitive Taekwondo athlete, training at a prestigious, physical education boarding school. After winning nationals, she became the captain of her team. Graduating from high school at the top of her class, she was signed by Gimje City as a professional competitor. When she retired, she enrolled at Vision University where she received a Bachelor's degree in Taekwondo through their physical education department. Even while attending university, Master Seonok spent many semesters abroad, teaching via seminar and residency. She is the former coach of the Bangladeshi national team. Her childhood masters are some of the greatest legends in Taekwondo, including Young Aye Seo, a seven-time world champion.
